Do you happen to know what is Inquiry-based learning?



IBL activities can be
# IBL activities can be Case study or problem scenarios
# Research, inquiry or investigation projects, including dissertations
# Small-scale, involving only a part of a class session, or the main focus of a whole course module, or even an entire degree course.

IBL approaches are characterized by
# Self-directed or autonomous learning activities
# Student input into learning goals, purposes or methods
# Learning activities that reflect practices in the discipline or profession being studied
# Quite open-ended processes
# Sometimes, students working together collaboratively
# Sometimes, an on-line component
# A focus on skills such as using information or working in groups
