The next seminar "How to do a PhD and Still Have a Life" will take place
on Tuesday 22nd May 2007 at 9.30 am till 12.30am in the Seminar Room,
New North Campus Graduate Research Centre. (To get to the Centre go to
the entrance of North Campus on Broad Lane, walk through the car park
and the building is opposite you on Garden Street).
The session summary is as follows:
MANAGING YOUR TIME
THE WORK/LIFE BALANCE
Your research and studies can be the source of great satisfaction to
you - or your biggest source of stress. How to achieve what you want to
academically while still having a life?
This course will help you to get better balance through several
powerful ideas:
Seeing the bigger picture and taking control
Setting and achieving your goals
Balancing what you have to do and what you choose to do
Finding time when you don't seem to have any
Staying health and happy
